The West of England Sports Trust (WESPORT) reports:
Hundreds of sports playing fields across the country will be protected and improved thanks to a £10 million National Lottery fund launched today by Sport England and the Minister for Sport and the Olympics, Hugh Robertson MP.

The playing fields fund announced by Hugh Robertson will give priority to fields protected under this scheme. we have invited Local authorities to take part and many are doing so but we would love a greater participatin in Birmingham – might you be interested in supporting this?
