“Be part of the 2012 legacy by improving and protecting your local playing fields”

The West of England Sports Trust (WESPORT) reports:

Hundreds of sports playing fields across the country will be protected and improved thanks to a £10 million National Lottery fund launched today by Sport England and the Minister for Sport and the Olympics, Hugh Robertson MP.

  1. I cannot find a tel no for you, but would very much like to talk to you to discuss whether you are interested in participating in our Queen Elizabeth II fields Challenge that could safeguard the sites on which you play and do your FANTASTIC work.
    The playing fields fund announced by Hugh Robertson will give priority to fields protected under this scheme. we have invited Local authorities to take part and many are doing so but we would love a greater participatin in Birmingham – might you be interested in supporting this? Could you contact me?
